Bakasyon Engrande 2014 =)

last time i went to the beach was in 2002, Puerto Galera... an impromptu beach trip for 3-4 days with 2 of my college friends... but i invited my Mom & she tagged along an aunt, my younger brother & a cousin.... didn't laze around the beach that much but i remembered eating anything & everything every 1 hour (no kidding).

This 5 day Boracay trip was again a spur of the moment - no idea - first timer type,  which ive learned form experience is not that hard, especially with the internet nowadays, we even booked our hotel (island nook) based on the recommendations from Trip Advisor & i even get to compile all suggested restaurants/things to do by friends, bloggers, adventure enthusiast, first/old timers & wanna be food critics.... cool huh?

i have been campaigning since after holy week, April 2012.... (now now pls. don't judge... i was bored for 3 days with nothing to do & i got curious about the buzz... and just downloaded it) to all my friends & customers who are into books, about it... i even send thru email epub versions of it, i was a huge fan... for a good 3 months.... then i just got bored...

so when a friend of mine, who just finished the 1st book... commented that its almost like porn & was wondering why i loved it....

i told her that... "it was a long time ago... & now i realized that im not into all the 50 shades of mr. Grey... maybe mga 15 shades na lang"

but im still waiting for the movie to come out... malamang puro cut & puro blurry flash backs & narration na lang... or tipong sa UP theater na lang ito ipapalabas...

eto naman daw ang mga type ng madlang pips na maging Christian Grey...

bet ko sa kanila si Ian Somerhalder (1), Chris Hemsworth (9), Colin Egglesfield (3), Matt Bomer (5) & Alexander Skarsgard (2)...

and now someone made a cookbook parody(?) of the book...

complete with a bonggang trailer... bwaahahahaha... shyet ang macho ng guy.... makes me wanna re-read the book again.... bwahahahahaha!!!!!!

1 grueling working-holiday ago (there in no holiday in retail) i wanted to watch "Life as we know it" after work & good thing Mrs. GVT was up for it, so we planned on meeting at Greenbelt 3 for an impromptu Movie + Dinner, the movie was to start at 8pm++ so we decided on having dinner 1st, we had dinner at

Meat Lasagna

we ordered the veggie lasagna, but they served us this, when we complained about it, the server checked what she write "yes, ma'am you order meat lasagna" which we are sure, we didn't order, but then she didn't even try to be nice about it, its no biggie so we just shrugged it off.

this was good

*the food was good not great but what Marciano really needs to address is how they handle situation like this & all the staff looks so bored/over-worked, they look like they are not happy working there, its very hard to get the attention of their staff, you really need to raise your hand like a grade schooler vying for the attention of your teacher & no this was not a busy night at all.

ive been searching for the best Okonomiyaki, eversince i had one in Shanghai courtesy of my former Japanese Boss (which she swear is the same as what they have in her hometown Kobe)... this is the next best thing to it =)

Super fresh Maguro & Salmon Sashimi


Pork Teppanyaki was a highly recommended dish

super sarap but a bit salty & it taste like A1 sauce was put on it, i think this would be perfect w/ beer =)
