Girls vs Underemployed
"Girls" is Created/Starred/Directed/co-Produced/Written by Lena Dunham (3rd from left sporting a tattoo... over achiever lang ang peg ateh?), Girls is a comedy-drama following a close group of twenty-somethings living in New York City. The show's premise and major aspects of the main character were inspired by some of 26-year-old Dunham's real-life experiences.
sneak peak:
IMO, i have DL 6 episodes of Girls... & im not planning on watching it... i can't relate to the story/dilemma... Girls has a very thin line between love & hate... its either you super hate it or you mega love it... in my case i hate it, di ako ma karelate & to think all the characters are in their mid 20's lang, parang super emotional roller coaster na tipong next epi e end of the world na ang drama... i think you have to live in NY, in your magulong uncertain 20's to be able to relate to them
p.s. lena... pls. lang take a chill pill... nakaka stress ka & sabayan mo na rin ng matapang na kape... kabahan ka naman minsan... masyado ka nang overexposed!!!
"Underemployed" follows a group a five friends-- (left to right) Miles, Daphne, Sophia, Raviva and Lou --all filled with lofty goals, romantic dreams and hopefulness for complete world domination on their road to adulthood. But what happens when things don't go exactly according to plan? It picks up one year after their college graduation when reality has set in and the group struggles, often comically, to stay optimistic through the major life changes young twentysomethings know all too well, including dead-end jobs, terrible bosses and romantic mistakes.
sneak peak:
IMO, i love like Underemployed (i am DL the whole season 1) its more easier to relate to, everyone is easy on the eyes... it has a Friends (Tv) element to it... with everyone hanging out in the living room/housemates/dinners etc. from the 5 cast, i think i only hate Raviva, although i love her name... fingers crossed there's a 2nd season =)

Obsession # 35
The series follows the life of Emily Owens, a first-year intern at Denver Memorial Hospital, where she realizes that her med-school crush Will Collins and her high school nemesis Cassandra Kopelson are also interning. Emily has to struggle with her affections for Will while trying to battle it out with Cassandra to land the coveted spot as the research assistant of the world-famous cardiothoracic surgeon, Gina Bandari
super sad that the series didn't get picked up & will air only 13 epis!!!! aaaaaaaahhhhh... im soooo rooting for will & emily pa naman. i totally can understand why she's into him =)
here's a sneak peak:
Emily: "The thing about being an adult that no one tells you growing up is that you don't feel like an adult. All your stupid insecurities and anxieties are still there, only you feel more stupid and insecure about being stupid and insecure because you're not supposed be stupid and insecure anymore. You're supposed have the answers. You're supposed to know. But we don't always know. And those answers? They're not always easy to come by. Well you know what? I'm done feeling stupid and insecure about feeling stupid and insecure. The truth is, I think part of being an adult is that you stop waiting for yourself to change and you start to accept who you are."
The series follows obstetrician/gynecologist Mindy Lahiri through her personal and professional life. The character was inspired by Kaling's mother, who is also an OB/GYN.
i love love love mindy!!!! i totally can relate to her dilemmas... & she's very witty & i love her 12 y.o. voice hehehehe, i think she will end up with Dr. Castellano... & if that happens siraan na ng buhay Lolz!!!!
Mindy: Maybe I won't get married, you know? Maybe I'll do one of those "Eat, Pray, Love" things. Ugh, no, I don't want to pray. Forget it, I'll just die alone.
here's a sneak peak:
