A series of images from Vancouver photographer, Dina Goldstein, is creating quite a buzz online. Goldstein, a conceptual artist with a background in documentary photography, creates visual series that "place the mundane and everyday in unusual settings to inspire insight into the human condition." 

"'Fallen Princesses' is an ironic look at children’s parables, from Grimm fairy tales to Walt Disney," She shared with Yahoo! Canada News. "By placing iconic characters such as Little Red Riding Hood or Snow White in modern situations, the series became a commentary on such everyday scourges as poverty, obesity, cancer and pollution." 

"These works have been recognized for their metaphorical and ironical messages, which transcends cultural borders and have sparked much conversation and accolades from academics, editors and bloggers around the world."

i have been campaigning since after holy week, April 2012.... (now now pls. don't judge... i was bored for 3 days with nothing to do & i got curious about the buzz... and just downloaded it) to all my friends & customers who are into books, about it... i even send thru email epub versions of it, i was a huge fan... for a good 3 months.... then i just got bored...

so when a friend of mine, who just finished the 1st book... commented that its almost like porn & was wondering why i loved it....

i told her that... "it was a long time ago... & now i realized that im not into all the 50 shades of mr. Grey... maybe mga 15 shades na lang"

but im still waiting for the movie to come out... malamang puro cut & puro blurry flash backs & narration na lang... or tipong sa UP theater na lang ito ipapalabas...

eto naman daw ang mga type ng madlang pips na maging Christian Grey...

bet ko sa kanila si Ian Somerhalder (1), Chris Hemsworth (9), Colin Egglesfield (3), Matt Bomer (5) & Alexander Skarsgard (2)...

and now someone made a cookbook parody(?) of the book...

complete with a bonggang trailer... bwaahahahaha... shyet ang macho ng guy.... makes me wanna re-read the book again.... bwahahahahaha!!!!!!

reason to watch : a Nicholas Sparks movie... need to check on the book first, but be ready with a tissue, someone to cuddle & hot choco.

I have tried a lot of moisturizers but this would have to be the best for my combination skin.

Dear Santa.... it's me again =)

i think i've been good this year.

i now have started counting to 5 before speaking my mind... which often times works.

i'm more patient to immature/whinny people (this took a lot of time getting used to but i tried, ok?).

i mostly kept my strong opinions to myself, unless i feel that it would do more good.

and lastly im proud to say that i only made 7 people (unintentionally) cry this year & i deeply regret 5 of them.

So Santa, i think "I DESERVE" to be on the NICE list.... i think its time.

p.s. i took your advice... i smile more now... & no i don't think it made a difference
