highlights for 2011

1. this year i turn (the BIG) __-__ ...

OHMYGAWDOHMYGAWDOHMYGAWD.... (i tried to type the dreaded numbers, but im having "selective" carpal tunnel attacks)

and since that tragic day, i've been very... how do i say it... careful? with the way i talk, dress up... and its sooo damn *oopsie* hard, i wanna buy chunky converse & the fluo pink/ yellow hi-cuts in i.t. is calling my name, but my much older *yikes* persona gets in the way reminding me that im not that young anymore *sob*

so you can understand my obsession with the korean girl group 2ne1.... they are my drugs

2. im finally back in the GYM after 2.5 years... i told my PT that our goal weight is to take 1 SNSD member out of my body.

i think my exact words were "Jun (PT), kaya ba natin na maging ganitong katawan? kasing kung hindi itigil na natin ang kalokohan na 'to at dederetcho na ako kay Belo"

incidentally my BFF is getting married June 2012 (june bride yay!!!) & since she's taking the term MAID of Honor literally, im dreading every moment to that day

3. i finally have my own business... opened it March this year, having a salon, was something that i wanted to do 3 years ago, but i have zero knowledge on how it works, im still learning to this day.

i find everyday a challenge & its a great feeling when i see my clients satisfied with the result of their hair, ive gotten positive feedback so far =) having convos with clients about their life is an added perk, i didn't get to do that from my previous jobs, people are generally stressed out from their daily life & having time to pamper themselves is a luxury.

my mom was the one who personally put the light bulb stickers.

its been blood-sweat-tears since the beginning, but im happy to report, that im starting to get the hang of it =)

dead on arrival...

im saying goodbye to my trusted camera.

my cam's with me 24/7 for the past 3 yrs., i sometimes even left my phone or wallet but never the camera.

my mom & my brother was my cam's biggest fan, my mom would be awed by the awesome, sometimes life-like pix of my food shots, she would even sometime be my plating choreographer & at times self appointed creative director bwahahaha.

first it started with blurred images, then the halo-halo mishaps (was eating halo-halo when some of it got spilled in my cam), the sudden pink images, zapping lcd & the unforeseen ballooning of battery happened.

i knew that it seriously needs TLC or in this case Major Overhaul... was crossing my fingers & preparing myself for the worst repair bill ever... but my pessimist lost in this battle... my total bill was only 2k short of my Purchase price.... WTF?......... isang malaking WTF!!!!!!!

so i have decided to lay my camera to sleep & just remember the good times that we have shared... alam ko, ma-drama ako talaga

to ease the pain... ive been window shopping for a new camera, totally out of budget & basically more of a Want & for 2012, im prioritizing on my NEED list.
