after 10 years, i finally had the chance to eat again at Bong's (will post a pix of it next time)... the foods is still superb, the look & feel is still homey, they have upgraded their system... they now have a cash register instead of a cash box, they have invested on a freezer but i think they are still using the same pot, plate, utensils that they used 10 years ago... hehehe but nevertheless.. even passing by Bong's bring back lots of good memories... me my friends, used to hang out there everyday we even have our spot (the table just below the stairs)... we'll always be there having our last snack at 5:10pm on the dot.. i even suggested to my HS barkada to have a sorta reunion there, because this is where we actually bonded more.
they have a wide selection of comfort food from all kinds of pancit (bihon,miki,canton, palabok, spaghetti etc.), to arroz caldo (which is my favorite), to real Ulam like mechado, lechon kawali, adobo, to their palamig like halo-halo, mais con hielo... we even had a food fight there with some schoolmates... i remember helping my friend take some sago out of her uniform... hehehe fun fun fun memories.

& my brother still loves their lumpiang shanghai & Palabok... & he never fails to bring home goodies when he passes by.
