I don’t know what it is about the year 2007 but a lot of people are getting married… For this year I have a total of 8 weddings to attend to… meaning 8 outfits to think about & 8 gifts to wrap.

& have you notice that when you go to the reception, prior to starting the lunch/dinner... you can hear these crappy music playing & i always wonder why those high price wedding coordinator didnt even have the time to burn a cd made especially for the wedding... tsk-tsk-tsk.

busy as a bee... but bored as hell

after 2 weeks of watching CSI NY & CSI LAS VEGAS i feel like i can kill someone w/out being caught... i can just wear gloves & a body suit, kill someone (maybe a blow in the head w/ a weird object... i can just get something from the industrial design fair... they always has something weird & new on display, so they cant determine what it is bec. its just a prototype) be meticulous & not leave a single drop of blood, footprints, fingerprint & hair in full view. then i can just scrub my victim & all the floors w/ bleach, put everything back to theyre original spot... so they can say that "the killer suffers from OCD" then i can watch them work... be an observer. maybe i could leave something behind... like a clue or a trademark... but then im too lazy to do all this... & typing it right now already exhaust me nyehehehe

we were buying from this new brand in LA, we were really not interested at first w/ the line bec. it is rather new & press materials are not that much... (we are very supportive to up & coming brands but sometimes they are really not that organized unlike known brands) good thing we didnt skip our meeting w/ this brand (it will still remain a secret till we open our store this Oct 2007)... my first reaction was... W-O-W!!! he is super cute & very charming... i snuck a quick paparazzi shot of him (i hope he didnt notice it) i was picturing the stuff that we got from them for reference... so i have an excuse for getting my camera out... he is sooo damn gorgeous!!! the pic didnt do him justice... he looks like a very fashionable & charming Ian Veneracion (a has been local actor) complete w/ red lips.

one lazy saturday part 1

Went w/ friends to Serendra last Saturday to celebrate a friends birthday… was supposed to have dinner at Contis. But then they don’t make reservation. but we we’re thinking that maybe… just maybe FACE VALUE would be enough for us to get in hehehe well… sure we can get a table outside but it’s too hot to enjoy our food & I bet the topic the whole night would be “who sweat the most!!!” ewww… not really appetizing.

we went to Contis at about 7pm to check if there’s an available table … but then lo & behold… the list was loooong… my # was 16 & they advice us to wait for 45mins (45mins. My A**) So me & my friends decided to stroll in Bonifacio High Street as we wait for our table… we went to check out the so-called biggest Havaianas store… but then my friend who’s a big Havaianas fanatic was really disappointed because they don’t have the design that she wanted (thin silver strap in black sole)... it maybe the biggest but they don’t have the complete line sheeesh….

Then we… well actually “I” dragged my friends to the Crocs store… I am still eyeing the Brown Mary Jane Crocs. But then my inner voice in telling me that it’s a total waste of money & it only looks cute for 5 yr. old kids.

After that we went back to Contis… but then the line is still long & we are currently at #8 & as much as I wanna know what was the fuss about their food… i was too hungry to wait another 45 mins. So instead we had dinner at Polu Kai… now I have tried this restaurant & actually enjoyed it before… but like some recording artist it’s only a one-hit-wonder or maybe they’re making their food more mainstream… thus not stepping up to plate like they used to be. sooo Disappointed with their food & ambience… when we got in… it looks like an Opium Den w/ all the smoke; they should install a huge Vent inside & pump up the AC to the hilt.

After dinner we checked out the shops above Serendra… I fell-in-love with a store named LUCA… I loved the homey look of it… I feel like as if I entered a different portal. We also like the stuff at Peppered Cherry… my friend even bought a hounds tooth over night bag by Therapy.

Semi charmed kinda life in Milan

Milan is beautiful the Duomo & Vittoria Emanuelle is really worth a trip to Milan. The people there are born to Live, Eat & Shop.


For a person who complains a lot. I only have 3 things to complain about Milan. 1st the place is beautiful but its too dirty… lots of bad graffiti on the walls (not the artsy-artsy kind)& the streets are piling up w/ papers, ads etc. 2nd reservation for lunch & dinner is a must… a lot of people are turned down coz they don’t have reservation. 3rd taxi drivers are d*mn rude… they need to enroll in a basic etiquette class ASAP!!!

For people who love to shop-shop-shop you better check out 10 corso como they have the perfect blend of culture-fashion-art &… sex toys? I was browsing from shelves to shelves of couture when I saw something in the color of neon yellow & pink at the corner of my eyes… I immediately turn in that direction & as I was about 5 inches away (for those that don’t know me I’m literally blind but just too hard headed to wear glasses, I only wear glasses when im in front of the TV or computer… other than that I try to get by… in my blurry blurry world hehehe) I was a bit shocked that the neon pink stuff that I thought was a giant chrono watch… was actually a giant robotic dildo…ewww…

& if you’re Milan you have got to try Gelato… forget about the Calories… you just have to try it… you’ll forget about the calories once you’ve tried it. I promise!!!

Ive noticed that from all the traveling that I’ve been doing this year… I only have 1 staple shop… H & M, I like that their clothes are easy to pair up with, faddish yet the fabric makes me breath especially in this kind of weather (36c) & the prices are really cheap… in Milan I bought 2 shirts, a hoodie, a bomber jacket & a graffiti scarf all for less than 50 euro… cheap noh?

I was only disappointed when I got in the hotel room, 1 lazy day (free day from work) just to open the news & see Hillary Duff on top of Vittoria Emanuelle (apparently that is where the Milan TRL is) & really there is not much of a crowd there when I left like 20 min. ago & definitely no signs, ads or banner that she would be there… i was so bummed… im a fan of her… ok a BIG fan… my little brother always inform me if Lizzie McGuire is on & yes I have a DVD copy of the movie.

I finally have watched the movie “the Holiday” although it’s not in a movie theatre or in the comfort of my bed with soft pillows to hug… imagining its Gram (now I finally understood how Jude Law seduced his kid’s Nanny… he’s just too irresistible to ignore). Chill… Amsterdam… chill

I love Amsterdam!!! People there are very laid back, well a bit too laid back, they are really not in a hurry… well it didn’t hurt that even though its 7:30pm they still has a sun & it looks like 2pm only.

But The Shops are closed at 6pm sharp, they closed late only on Thursday at 9pm (Souvenir stores are open till 10pm… IMO they have the best Souvenir store, the humor of Amsterdam people is really something), but then the sun is still up… so you’re left wandering… “Where do these people go?” well there’s the very famous Red-Light District… I really don’t need to explain anything, coz you probably know what there is to know about it. A trip there is really a must, but you must go in a group or at least in 2’s. & be wary of your surrounding.

& then you see a lot of “Coffee Shops” Coffee shops that doesn’t sell Coffee’s, not even a Diet Coke… instead the menu reads:

Barcelona was fun, they have a lot of great local brands. Shopping is such a huge thing there & you can see a lot of people carrying they’re purchases along the streets.

We we’re cruising through shops when we saw an old guy… totally naked!!! He painted a short to cover his lower body, something like body art… so if you’re far from him, it would seem that his wearing a short, but really he’s not. My colleague told me that when she went to Barcelona last Nov. they saw him too in that same street totally naked in 10 degrees!!!

A lot of people are hollering at him & he just ignored them. As if nothing is wrong… too bad I didn’t get to have a photo w/ him… im a bit wary that maybe he really is a raging lunatic, not an artist & besides I’m w/ my new boss & what will he just think? That he hired a crazy girl? But im just bummed that I missed that wild photo opt.

new year – new blog – new bag – new job

For 2007, I feel like I need a change. Well I think EVERYBODY needs a change.

If you feel like you’re job is killing you... A change of job is necessary, maybe being an account is not your thing… why not make your own jackass show instead? Or audition as the 6th Queer Eye? Or direct a Political AD & Choreograph the shameless dance routine for free.

If you feel like you’re too bored with you’re room (like moi)… then why not paint it in Rainbow Polka-dots? (like I would like mine to be, but then blame it on my tight schedule… I can’t freaking do it arghhhh!!!)

If you feel like you’re getting fed up with you’re BF/GF… then why not look for a new one? But why look for a new one, when you can be playing the field? *wink*wink*

If you feel like you’re getting bored with you’re *insert breed* pet dog then do a semi-Angelina Jolie… no, not adopt a kid, instead adopt a Pet? An Elephant from Thailand or a Camel from Egypt would really be exotic don’t you think? (I personally don’t like dogs and they say people who have dogs are much affectionate than others who don’t, well I DON’T F*CKING CARE!!!)

For this year, one of my big changes is my blog, I won’t be updating my blog-city website, yet I’d still be checking it from time to time to answer my messages & comments. But blogspot will be my new home, so save this link.

After salivating for a year & a half… I have finally purchased using my blood (high blood actually), sweat & tears. my first & definitely not my last bag investment & I just can’t help but not to let go of her (yeah her… im talking like it’s a freaking human being)

And so far 2007 had been a good year. Its so much better that 2006, which started with a bang-barat-ta-tat-ta-tat… but then all is smooth sailing now… I think. Well… who cares, as long as it’s all good with me then to Hell with them, I don’t need them!!! (sadly anger management didn’t do much wonder to this kid tsk-tsk-tsk).

I have lots to write about, but there’s so much to share & really not a lot of time to type it down. As of the moment im doing some *stuff* that requires my full-undivided-attention (coming from me, that is really something). As much as I would like to share the Full-Horrid-Detail about it… I can’t!!! I can only share that it gave me the opportunity to do 4 of what I love doing most: Travel, Boys, Food and Fashion (not in that necessary order). Sleep is my #5 but 4 out of 5 isn’t bad.

It’s only been 4 months since I joined with planning the *stuff* yet I’ve been given the opportunity to travel to LA, Vegas, HK & tomorrow ill be off to Barcelona, Amsterdam, Milan & Paris *woohoooo*. But then it’s a business trip, not a vacation, so it would be work-work-work not play-play-play.
